Three of the ten US arms sales notices printed on 19 October 2026 are for Saudi Arabia; the $24.3 billion F-35 approval is not yet among them
On 19 October 2026 the Federal Register printed ten Department of Defense Arms Sales Notifications, the unclassified text of possible foreign military sales that Congress received between 18 August and 16 September 2026. All ten are in Svatantra.ai's signal database. Three name the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: a $5.0 billion JDAM notice listing 5,004 KMU-572 and 5,000 KMU-556 guidance kits with 10,004 bombs, 60 tank engines at $750 million, and a THAAD amendment that raises an existing case by $3.2 billion to a revised $18.2 billion. The State Department's 17 September approval of 48 F-35 aircraft for Saudi Arabia, at $24.3 billion, cleared its congressional review on 17 October and had no Federal Register text by 23 October. This note sets out the ten records, the figures as printed, the lag between notification and print, and what the data does not show.
