China installed 354,000 industrial robots in 2025, 59% of the world total

On 24 September 2026 the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) published World Robotics 2026, covering calendar year 2025. Factories in China installed 354,000 industrial robots, up 20% and 59% of global installations, against 54% in 2024. This note sets out the country figures, the derived rest-of-world total, who supplied China's robots, and what a count of units does not show.
